B. (1989)

Before entering photojournalism, George had been shooting since early 2008, accepting various small photography clients from weddings, to debuts, to corporate dinners, to circuses, while pursuing his degree in Fine Arts, major in Advertising Arts at the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila.

In 2012, George worked for NPPA Images, a Philippine based news photo agency. Covering a wide range of events from hard news to entertainment, sports to lifestyle, and a few corporate assignments, his works were published mostly in Yahoo! Philippines and various news clients both locally and internationally.

In 2013, an international press photo agency started to contact him giving him various editorial assignments. Eventually his network grew and up until today, he continues to supply photos to agencies based in Italy, France, Germany, Hong Kong, and the Great Britain territory to name a few.

While working on a few personal projects in 2014, George was granted full scholarship and was able to acquire the Diploma in Photojournalism at the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center For Journalism (ACFJ) at the Ateneo De Manila University, where he received praises from big names in Philippine journalism for his on going documentary project about cemetery dwellers. In late 2014 to mid 2015, he went on a photographic journey with a public servant documenting his life as a leader and as a person.

In 2016, George was again granted full scholarship for the "Shooting with Purpose" Documentary Photography Masterclass held at the Objectifs - Center for Photography and Film in Singapore with VII Photo Agency co-founder and  Director of the Program for Narrative & Documentary Practice at Tufts University in the USA, Gary Knight. In this intimate workshop, George met and collaborated with other Asian photographers of different disciplines and was mentored by the legendary photographer himself.

Also in 2016, George traveled to Cambodia to attend the Angkor Photo Festival where he had his work and portfolio reviewed by big names in the industry such as the South-East Asia editor of Getty Images, the Mt. Rokko Photo Festival director, a representative from Magnum Foundation , and a World Press Photo representative among others. In this festival, he was lucky enough to attend talks and presentations by renowned conflict photographers Patrick Chauvel and Zalmai.

From 2017 - 2023, George worked with the country's largest TV network's news outlet as a photo and video journalist covering daily news and current affairs, sports, entertainment, culture and politics, calamities and natural disasters, and daily life. He has also since worked as a stringer for the Manila Bureau of Agence France Presse (AFP) in 2019.

He is currently based in Australia shooting for different organizations and clients.

George is available for assignments.
